PH brand Potato Corner thrives in Perth

06 June 2022, CANBERRA – Philippine brand Potato Corner, the world’s best flavored French fries, has been serving the Australian market in Perth since 2021. Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega visited one of the Potato Corner franchises located at Westfield Booragoon on 31 May 2022..

Opening during the pandemic, the planning and training of the crew had to take place amidst travel lockdowns and other challenges. Owner and Director Ms. Eilene Joy Brazil operates three stores around Perth. She noted the good feedback from their clients and expressed optimism on the prospects of Potato Corner and other Philippine brands in Australia.

Ambassador De La Vega said, “We are proud of the accomplishments of Ms. Brazil and we hope that more Filipino-Australians will be inspired to become entrepreneurs like her.” The Ambassador noted the success of Philippine brands in Australia in particular in the field of food and beverage. -- END
