24 April 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Canberra will conduct a Mobile Consular Mission to Nauru on 02 May 2023 from 2 pm - 7 pm at Tomano Restaurant, Meneñ Hotel.
The Mission will serve passport applicants, administer the oath of allegiance to petitioners for dual citizenship who have received approval letters from the Embassy, and conduct overseas voting registration for the 2025 Philippine elections.
Passport Application
Passport applicants are requested to send an email to atn@philembassy.org.au with the following details:
- Subject: Nauru Consular Mission
- Attachments:
1. Completely filled-up application form [download form here]; and
2. Scanned copy of the passport data page
The Embassy will pre-process the email requests and will send email replies. Those who are cleared will be provided their appointment schedule by email. Those who need to submit additional documents will be also informed by email.
Dual Citizenship

approval letters from the Consul General
and have confirmed appointments will be allowed to take the oath during the mobile mission. Please note that the Embassy’s auto-reply for all emails is not a confirmation of your appointment for the oath-taking ceremony.

All dual citizenship applicants who wish to
apply for Philippine passports must also send an email to
atn@philembassy.org.au as mentioned in the above section for passports.
Reacquisition/retention of Philippine citizenship which is completed through oath-taking before a consular official must be conducted prior to appearance for passport encoding.
Filipinos who have acquired Australian or Nauru citizenship through naturalization have lost their Philippine citizenship. They are not allowed to apply for a Philippine passport until they have reacquired/retained their Philippine citizenship under the Philippine Republic Act 9225 (Citizenship Retention and Re-acquisition Act of 2003).

Overseas Voting
Overseas voting applicants are requested go to Tomano Restaurant, Meneñ Hotel, from 2:00pm to 7:00 pm and bring their original valid passport or a valid Philippine government ID (see below) and one photocopy.
Those who have no valid Philippine passport or Philippine government ID may send an email to

subject: Nauru Consular Mission) so that they can be advised of alternative options. Following are acceptable Philippine IDs if these have not yet reached date of expiry:
1. National identification (ID) card under the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys);
2. Postal ID card;
3. PWD ID Card;
4. Senior Citizen's ID card;
5. Driver's license;
6. NBI clearance;
7. Passport;
8. SSS/GSIS or other UMID ID card;
9. Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID card;
10. License issued by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC).

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- Applicants are also reminded to read and understand all the documentary requirements for the consular service they want to avail of.
- Each applicant is required to bring the original version of all required documents plus one photocopy of each document on 2 May 2023 at the Mobile Consular Mission venue. Failure to bring all required original documents and photocopies may cause delay or denial of the service. Photocopying services are not available.
- Bring cash payment as follows:
Passport Renewal Fee - A$108 per applicant
Lost Passport Fee - A$270 per applicant
- For passport applicants:
- Personal appearance is required for all passport applicants. Minors must be accompanied by the parents, especially the mother.
- Applicants are required to wear decent clothing for passport photo capture. Per Philippine passport guidelines, pieces of jewelry, eyeglasses, artificial eyelashes, piercings and contact lenses, plunging necklines, sleeveless clothing, see-through tops, and the like are not allowed during photo capturing.
