CANBERRA, Australia (01 March 2021) – In celebration of National Women's Month and the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Australia in 2021, the Philippine Embassy in Australia will share stories from exceptional women who represent the diverse backgrounds and experiences of Filipino migrant women in Australia.

The Embassy launched the social media campaign, “Today’s Filipino Australian Women” on 08 March 2019 to shine light on Filipino Australian women who have exhibited excellence in respective fields and bring pride to the Philippines. As we embark on our third and final year of this campaign for the 75th Anniversary, we recognize the important role of Filipino women in Australia in nurturing the historic people-to-people linkages and the friendships between the Philippines and Australia.
