On 1 June 2014, Philippine Embassy Minister and Consul General Nina P. Cainglet, who represented Philippine Ambassador Belen F. Anota, and Sydney PCG Consul General Anne Jalando-on Louis attended a Charity Concert organized by the Filipino Community Cooperative Ltd. at the Sydney Town Hall in Sydney, NSW.

Ms. Rose Fostanes, Filipino grand final winner of X-Factor Israel, and Ms. Dami Im, Australian-Korean grand final winner of X- Factor Australia, performed at the Charity Concert. It was Ms. Fostanes’ first concert outside of Israel after winning X-Factor Israel in 2014 and Ms. Im’s first concert with a fellow Asian artist. Several Filipino artists in Australia, including Mr. Brian Lorenz, Mr. Jerson Trinidad, Lilian Delos Reyes and Kookies N Kream dance group, a Grand finalist on "Australia's Got Talent" in 2013, also performed at the event. The concert was well-received and the audience enjoyed and danced along while the artists showcased their singing talents.

The proceeds of the concert will be used to raise funds to help in rebuilding lives after Typhoon Haiyan through World Vision Australia (Help After Haiyan Project).
