20 December 2022 – Philippine Ambassador to Australia H.E. Ma. Hellen De La Vega and Col. Alexander Gigantone, Defense and Armed Forces Attaché of the Philippine Embassy in Canberra witnessed the conferment of degrees of four outstanding Filipino students who graduated from the Australian Defense Force Academy (ADFA) and the Royal Military College (RMC). The Ambassador congratulated the graduates on their achievements and wished them every success in their duties in service of the nation.

Three Filipinos graduated from ADFA on 07 December 2022. Major Marvin Ybañez from the Philippine Air Force was conferred with a Masters Degree in Capability. Officer Cadet (OCDT) Renz Alvar Quimpo graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Humanities and Social Sciences, and he will be joining the Philippine Army. OCDT Aprilyn Daruca Enriquez was conferred with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Science and Technology and she will be joining the Philippine Navy.

OCDT Clarence Cadalig finished his Full Time Officer Commissioning Program on 13 December 2022 at the RMC at Duntroon. He will be joining the Philippine Army upon his return. – END --
