24 February 2021 (Canberra) - H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, Ambassador of the Philippines to Australia, met with Ms. Michelle Rowland MP, Member for Greenway, New South Wales and member of the Australia Philippines Parliamentary Group, at Parliament House. New South Wales is home to the largest Filipino community in Australia.

Ambassador De La Vega and Ms. Rowland MP discussed plans for the commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Australia in 2021. Ms. Rowland welcomed initiatives to further enhance PH-AU diplomatic relations and paid tribute to the important contributions of Filipinos in Australia. END
