18 December 2020 – The Philippine Honorary Consulate-General in Port Vila, led by Honorary Consul-General Florentino L. Serrano (3rd from the left), sent off five stranded Filipinos in Vanuatu for their flight back to the Philippines on 17 December.

Consul-General Serrano coordinated with relevant authorities in Vanuatu, assisted in securing relevant visas, and facilitated the renewal of travel insurance for the repatriation of the stranded Filipinos in Vanuatu.

With the departure of the above nationals, there are no more Filipinos stranded in Vanuatu as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic
