20 November 2025, CANBERRA – The Philippine Embassy in Canberra, represented by Third Secretary Angela Kristel Laurente, welcomed Filipino delegates Marlou Bautista Salido and Maria Regina Monsayac Pabalate in October 2025 as they took part in the 2025 Young Leaders Dialogue, an initiative of the ASEAN- Australia Centre. The program convenes 30 outstanding young leaders from Southeast Asia and Australia for a 12-week leadership journey aimed at advancing regional collaboration, strengthening cross-cultural understanding, and cultivating a new generation of engaged regional leaders.

The Dialogue equips participants with practical leadership tools and provides a platform for meaningful exchange among emerging professionals across the region. The program includes virtual workshops, a six-day intensive program in Australia and a three-day engagement in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia held in October 2025.- END
