29 September 2025, CANBERRA – The Philippine Embassy in Canberra Bowling Team claimed the championship title at the 7th ASEAN Family Bowling Tournament held at Zone Bowling Tuggeranong. This latest victory marks the Embassy’s sixth overall championship in the tournament and its fifth consecutive win since 2019.

This year’s team was led by Ambassador Antonio Morales and consisted of Rodrigo C. Gavino, Jeffrey T. De Mesa, Jessie B. Lucas, Ronnel P. Lasacar, and Rommel T. Quilang. They delivered a strong and consistent performance throughout the event to ensure another successful campaign for the Philippines in the friendly competition among ASEAN missions.

This year’s tournament also welcomed the participation of Timor-Leste who joined the event for the first time following its recent inclusion in ASEAN.
