PH Embassy and APBC discuss business promotion initiatives for 2022

08 November 2021, CANBERRA – H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, Ambassador of the Philippines to Australia, met the new president of the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC) Mr. Rene Cabrera on 05 November to discuss the organization’s plans in 2022. The Embassy worked with the APBC in several projects in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations of the Philippine and Australia this year. Mr. Cabrera is Managing Director of San Miguel Yamamura Australasia.

The Embassy supports the APBC’s expansion to reach many companies across Australia that do business with the Philippines. The APBC has presence in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia. -- END
