27 May 2021, CANBERRA – H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, Ambassador of the Philippines to Australia, congratulated Ms. Angelica Martinez, Australia Awards scholar, on the completion of her Master of Public Policy at the Australian National University, at a reception hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) on 21 May 2021 at the National Gallery of Australia. Joining them is DFAT Acting Assistant Secretary for Maritime Southeast Asia Ms. Emma Stone.
In 2020, there were 86 postgraduate Australia Awards scholarship awardees from the Philippines studying in Australia. The Ambassador congratulates all Australia Awards scholars from the Philippines who completed their program this year and recognizes their resilience as they lived and studied abroad at the height of the pandemic.
