24 May 2021 – Ambassador Ma. Hellen De La Vega, Consul Melanie Diano, Ms. Melissa Mcintosh, MP., Deputy Mayor Tricia Hitchen, and Dr. Hari Harinath together with PLCAA Officers, led the raising of flags of Australia, the Philippines and of the City of Penrith, to commemorate the milestone event in the Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Australia. The event was organized by the Philippine Language and Cultural Association of Australia, Inc. (PLCAA) on 22 May 2021, Saturday, at St. Mary’s Community and Cultural Precint in Penrith. Also present are Councilors from nearby cities in NSW.
