Ambassador Belen F. Anota welcomed students from the Filipino Language School of Canberra (Southside Class) who visited the Philippine Embassy as their excursion activity.

Second Secretary and Consul Grace Bulos gave a brief presentation on the work of the Embassy and its role in strengthening the friendship between the Philippines and Australia. She congratulated the students for doing well in their studies and encouraged them to continue learning about the Philippines and their heritage. To add fun and to culminate the presentation, the students were taught to play sungka, a traditional Filipino board game.

The students, accompanied by their teacher Sheila Flores and some parents, also went on a tour of the Embassy.
