31 March 2025, CANBERRA / DARWIN – Philippine Ambassador to Australia H.E. Antonio A. Morales paid a courtesy call on Hon. Luke Gosling OAM, Federal Member for Solomon, Northern Territory, and Chair of the Federal Philippines- Australia Parliamentary Friendship Group.

Hon. Gosling recognized the valuable contributions of the Filipino community in the Northern Territory, highlighting their role in various sectors, including healthcare, education, and business.

Ambassador Morales and Hon Gosling underscored the importance of fostering stronger defense and security, economic and people-to-people connections between the Philippines and the Northern Territory. They also reflected on ongoing efforts to further strengthen the Strategic Partnership between the Philippines and Australia, as both countries anticipate the celebration of 80 years of diplomatic ties in 2026.
