Ambassador De La Vega visited San Miguel Yamamura site in Margaret River

06 June 2022, CANBERRA – Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega visited the SANECTOR bottling and packaging site in Margaret River in Western Australia on 01 June 2022 upon the invitation of San Miguel Yamamura Australasia (SMYA) Managing Director Rene Cabrera. Mr. Cabrera also serves as President of the Australia Philippines Business Council.

SANECTOR is a beverage filling and complete packaging solutions business under SMYA with operations in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. The business involves filling, bottling and canning of beverage including logistics and export-ready services.

Ambassador De La Vega toured the site and learned about the operations of SANECTOR from Mr. Cabrera and Mr. Breguet. SMYA is a joint venture of San Miguel Corporation of the Philippines and Nihon Yamamura Glass of Japan and is an established leader in packaging and contract beverage filling in Australia and New Zealand. -- END
