The Philippine Embassy is closely monitoring the Beard fire in the ACT and notes that the ACT Emergency Service Agency has downgraded the level warning to Advice level as of 8:49 PM (AEST) on 23 January 2020. The fire is under control and people can return to the area.
The Embassy requests all Filipinos in the ACT to constantly monitor and heed the instructions of local authorities and take all necessary precautions and recommended actions, especially as temperatures rise in the coming days.
