07 June 2021 - The appointment slots for passport application for the Mobile Consular Mission in Brisbane, Queensland on 12-16 July 2021 are fully booked. The Embassy assures everyone that it is committed to bring consular services closer to the public in full compliance with travel and health regulations of Australia.
The Embassy understands the high demand for this service because of the cancellation due to the pandemic of the Brisbane consular mission that was supposed to take place in 2020 and the difficulty for passport applicants to travel interstate. In this regard, and without sacrificing efficiency and ability to comply with COVID19 safety regulations, the Embassy will open 100 additional slots on 17 July 2021 for those whose passports have already expired. Further information on how to book an appointment will be announced at the Philippine Embassy website on Friday, 11 June, 10:00 AM (AEST).
The Embassy appreciates the understanding of the public on the challenges in efficiently and safely conducting mobile consular missions during the pandemic while still ensuring that normal operations and all consular services are maintained in the Philippine Embassy in Canberra during the period that a significant number of its personnel are in Brisbane serving our kababayans.
The Embassy also wishes to remind the public of the following:
