01 September 2021, CANBERRA – The ACT government has implemented a statewide lockdown from 12 August 2021, 5:00 PM until 17 September 2021, 11:59 PM. In compliance with this directive, the Embassy of the Philippines in Canberra will be closed to the public for the duration of the lockdown.
The Embassy appreciates the understanding of the public on the importance of observing federal and local COVID19 protocols to ensure the health and safety of all persons living in Australia during this time of the pandemic.
Filipino nationals who require emergency consular assistance should call the Embassy hotline at 0408 735 383.
All appointments for consular services scheduled during this period have been cancelled. Consular clients are requested to schedule a new appointment once the lockdown has been lifted through www.philembassy.org.au.
Filipino nationals who have urgent need to go to the Embassy for passport renewal may send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
