Virtual Forum on Migration, 24 November

12 November 2021, CANBERRA - The Inter-agency Committee on the Celebration of the Month of Overseas Filipinos is inviting the Filipino community in Australia to a virtual forum on 24 November to celebrate the resilience of overseas Filipinos during the global pandemic.

The forum will feature officials from the Philippine government who will discuss the programs and services that overseas Filipinos may avail of. There will also be a panel discussion with Filipino community leaders in Australia who will share stories of Bayanihan that shaped the interaction and community-building of overseas Filipinos in Australia.

Overseas Filipinos have been significantly impacted by the health and economic challenges brought about by the pandemic. The virtual forum will highlight the resilience of Filipinos living overseas and the committed and unceasing support of the Philippine government to their welfare.
