Sydney Consul General Graces The Launch of Tourism Advertisements on Sydney Trains

SYDNEY - The Philippine Consulate General in Sydney led by Consul General Maria Teresa L. Taguiang attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of Its More Fun in the Philippines advertising on Sydney trains on 21 January 2019 at the Bondi Junction Train Station.

The 12-week ad campaign features El Nido Palawan, voted as one of the best islands in the world by Travel Leisure magazine. Sydney Trains have 33 million passengers per month and 1.2 million passengers per day. The ad campaign encourages Sydney commuters to visit the Philippines and its 7,100 islands.

The event was attended by Tourism Attache Norjamin Delos Reyes, Consul Melanie Diano, Trade Attache Alma Argayoso and Emma Collins of Torch Media.
