CANBERRA (22 October 2020) – Fresh from the Philippines’ successful participation in the Maison&Objet and More (MOM) Digital Fair in September 2020, the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) launched FAME+ on 22 October.
FAME+ is Manila FAME’s new digital community platform for the home, fashion and lifestyle industries. Manila FAME is the second longest-running trade show in Asia-Pacific held annually to provide a seamless sourcing experience for local and international buyers of high-quality and design-oriented fashion, holiday, architectural and interior products.
Since buyers from around the world including from Australia cannot fly to Manila this year for the annual trade show, Manila FAME brings the best of Filipino design and experience to the global market through FAME+. The new website also features Touchpoint, an all-encompassing briefer on design tips and techniques, innovation and craftsmanship, the best furniture and décor, the latest in fashion and fine gifts, among others.
For its launch this month, a series of webinars on Philippine design and beyond will run until 28 October. The schedule of the webinars maybe accessed at https://www.fameplus.com/events.
Through FAME+, the Philippines is ready to showcase the best of Philippine design to a wider audience. At the MOM Digital Trade Fair last month, 13 Philippine brands presented over 250 collections that garnered more than 660,000 impressions and generated multiple business leads with countries like Australia, Belgium, Brazil, and the UK. -- END
