Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro held a meeting with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong on the Sidelines of the AMM in Kuala Lumpur

On 10 July 2025, H.E. Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, and H.E. Penny Wong, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Australia held a bilateral meeting during the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings in Kuala Lumpur.

Secretary Lazaro and Foreign Minister Wong reaffirmed the strength of Philippines-Australia relations and agreed to deepen various aspects of cooperation particularly maritime cooperation.
