09 September 2024, MELBOURNE – Leveraging Melbourne’s renowned standing as Australia’s culinary capital, six (6) Filipino franchise companies have sealed deals amounting to PHP750 million at the Franchising and Business Opportunities Expo held in Melbourne from 17-19 August 2024.

The six participating brands – Avocadoria, Bench, Cabalen , Miguelitos Ice Cream, Oryspa, and Shawarma Shack – all have an existing international presence. The delegation’s participation in the expo was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry's Export Marketing Bureau, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Sydney, and the DTI’s Competitiveness and Innovation Group under the Tatak Pinoy Program. Key support was also provided by the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PhilExport) and the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA). - END
