Consul General and First Secretary Aian A. Caringal of the Philippine Embassy in Canberra met with Professor Lawrence Pratchett, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Students, Partnerships and International on 16 September 2019 at the University of Canberra. Both noted the significant number of Filipino students in the University and discussed opportunities for the Philippine Embassy and University of Canberra to partner and support Filipino students. Consul General Caringal shared the Embassy’s initiative for a Post Arrival Orientation Seminar for newly-arrived Filipino students in Canberra to be held on 21 September 2019. END
