Philippine Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, paid a courtesy call on Senator the Hon Scott Ryan, President of the Senate and Senator for Victoria of the Australian Parliament on 29 July 2019 at Parliament House in Canberra. Ambassador De La Vega shared that there are more than 70,000 Filipinos in Victoria who are thriving in Australia’s multicultural society. Ambassador De La Vega and Senator Ryan discussed opportunities for parliamentary exchanges to build friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries.
