Mr. George Christensen MP, Chair of the Australia Philippines Parliamentary Network, and Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega discuss opportunities to strengthen parliamentary exchanges and people-to-people linkages between the Philippines and Australia on 19 February 2019 at Parliament House in Canberra. Ambassador De La Vega extended her appreciation to Mr. Christensen for supporting the Philippines Australia Comprehensive Partnership. The Ambassador added that the Philippines and Australia will observe 75 years of diplomatic relations in 2021.

Ambassador De La Vega took the opportunity to express the solidarity of the Philippines with those affected by the floods in Queensland.
