Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega paid a courtesy call on Senator the Hon Don Farrell on 13 February 2019 at Parliament House in Canberra. Ambassador De La Vega expressed appreciation for the Senator’s support for the Filipino community especially in South Australia.

The Senator talked about the long history of friendship of the Philippines and Australia including cooperation during the second world war and the strong people to people connections. He expressed hope that the two countries will enhance trade and investment relations.
