PH provides final details on Retail Dollar Bonds in Roadshow in Australia

29 September 2021 – The Bureau of the Treasury of the Philippines continued its roadshow on the Retail Dollar Bonds (RDBs) in Australia on 28 September 2021 to provide prospective overseas Filipino investors with the final details on this low-risk investment.

In her welcome remarks, Philippine Ambassador to Australia H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega said, “We welcome these opportunities for overseas Filipinos to save and invest through digital innovations as technology increases our access to financial services. Today, small investors can participate in investing in government-issued bonds through faster and more convenient ways”.

The Bureau of Treasury and participating banks addressed questions from overseas Filipinos in Australia who are considering the RDBs as a way of diversifying their investment portfolio.
