PH Ambassador Shares Opportunities to Enhance Relations in 2021 PH-AU Dialogue

01 October 2021 – H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, Philippine Ambassador to Australia, shared the Philippine perspective on the next steps in the bilateral relationship during the final session of the 2021 Philippines-Australia Dialogue on 30 September 2021. She joined H.E. Steven J. Robinson, Australian Ambassador to the Philippines, and panellists Ms. Jacinta Carroll and Professor Herman Kraft in discussing the strengths of the Philippine-Australia Comprehensive Partnership and opportunities to deepen cooperation in defence and security.

Ambassador De La Vega encouraged academic partners to support research on maritime cooperation, health, cyber security, climate change, science and innovation, and economic engagement in support of Philippines-Australia relations.

The 2021 Philippines-Australia Dialogue was organized by the Foundation for the National Interest (FNI) and Griffith Asia Institute. END
