01 February 2024, CANBERRA - The Philippine Government through the Bureau of the Treasury is inviting Filipinos in Australia who are interested to deepen their knowledge and understanding of government securities to a Financial Literacy Session on Retail Treasury Bonds (RTB). The Bureau of the Treasury will be hosting the online Financial Literacy Session on 16 February 2024 at 6:00 PM AEST.

RTBs are Peso-denominated, low-risk, fixed-income investments that provide interest every quarter. Moreover, they are part of the National Government’s savings mobilization program designed to enhance retail access to government securities. Proceeds from the issuance are directed to financing the Republic’s priority projects and key national expenditures as approved by the National Budget.
