Filipino Language School Officers call on PH Ambassador

10 February 2022 – The new officers of the Filipino Language School (FLS) in Canberra led by Mr. Arnel Basas took their Oath of Affirmation before Ambassador Ma. Hellen De La Vega and Consul General Aian Caringal on 09 February 2022 at the Embassy of the Philippines.

Mr. Basas updated the Ambassador of the planned activities of FLS for school year 2022 and assured the Embassy of their continuing commitment to promote Filipino language among Filipino students in Canberra. Ambassador De La Vega commended FLS for their efforts and reaffirmed the Embassy’s support to FLS. She also presented reference books and reading materials which may be used by FLS in their classes and other learning activities. END
