Melbourne, Australia – Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega delivered the keynote remarks at a Melbourne fashion show on 14 April that featured the creations of renowned Filipino designers Jun Escario and Ann Ong and Philippine retail brand Karimadon.
Jun Escario is one of the most celebrated fashion designers in Manila and best known for his bridal gowns and evening wear. His creations are donned by the who’s who in the Philippine fashion scene as well as by international celebrities.
Ann Ong is a multi-awarded jewelry and accessory designer. She has won awards in Manila and in New York and her designs are handcrafted by Filipino artisans.
Karimadon is an established go-to fashion brand for ready to wear evening gowns and dresses in the Philippines. It has expanded to Jakarta and will soon venture out in the fashion retail industry in Melbourne.
