CANBERRA, Australia – Filipina Entrepreneurs Ms. Mary Grace Belviz, owner of Rosarios Delicacies, and Ms. Anya Lim, co-founder of Anthill Fabric Gallery, were selected by the Export Council of Australia, in partnership with the Australia Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, to participate in the “Australia Awards: Women Trading Globally” program.

As successful entrepreneurs who are moving into exports, Ms. Belviz and Ms. Lim were chosen from almost 200 applicants across Southeast Asia to travel to Australia for a two week training in Brisbane and Sydney on export strategy, digital marketing and international business plan.

Representing Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega, Philippine Honorary Consul General in Brisbane Margaret Grummitt met Ms. Belviz and Ms. Lim at a reception hosted by the Export Council of Austrlaian on 30 May 2019 in Brisbane.

Ambassador De La Vega said, “Mary Grace and Anya run successful enterprises that use local Philippine talent and content. I am pleased that they are taking the big leap towards exporting and have this opportunity to learn from Australia, a successful exporting country.” Ms. Belviz and Ms. Lim join thirteen other women entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia in the Women Trading Globally program. -- END
