06 August 2020 – Filipino-Australian food author Yasmin Newman shared her perspectives on Filipino food trends in Australia during a seminar with the Philippine Embassy in Canberra led by H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega and Philippine Tourism Representative Ms. Norjamin Delos Reyes. Yasmin’s third cookbook, an evocative celebration of the Philippines and its food, is set to come out in 2021. Her first book on Philippine cuisine, 7000 Islands, was published in 2013 and continues to be sold in Australia, the Philippines, US and the UK.
