Canberra – The Conduct of Overseas Voting in Australia, which commenced on 13 April 2019, is proceeding smoothly. The Philippine Embassy in Canberra has been receiving at least one hundred accomplished ballots daily from qualified voters across Australia and Vanuatu through the postal system, although some voters have personally delivered their ballots at the Embassy.
In line with the Philippine Commission on Election (COMELEC) regulations, the schedule of feeding of the ballots in the Vote Counting Machine (VCM) is every Monday and Thursday morning until the conclusion of Overseas Voting on 13 May 2019 at 6 pm Philippine Time (8 pm AEDT).
