03 May 2021, CANBERRA – Ambassador of the Philippines to Australia H.E. Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega met Ms. Louisa Cotter, representative of the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC) in WA on 23 April 2021. Ms. Cotter is also a Board Director for the ASEAN Alliance Council based in Perth and currently a Commercial Manager for Perth Airport. Louisa is also an entrepreneur and owns an international importing and exporting company.

As the Representative of the APBC President in WA, Louisa will work closely with the APBC President in advancing APBC members’ interests and executing the APBC WA Strategic Plan to contribute in advancing trade and investment links between the Philippines and Australia.

“The Philippines and WA have strong economic relations with WA responsible for half of Australia’s exports to the Philippines. There are also several WA firms that have operations in the Philippines. Through APBC, I am looking forward to a more robust commercial engagement with WA,” the Ambassador said. - END
