14 September 2022, CANBERRA – Philippine Ambassador to Australia Ma. Hellen B. De La Vega met the Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Tim Watts MP, on 14 September 2022 in Parliament House. Mr. Watts is the Federal Member for Gellibrand, Victoria. The Ambassador conveyed the Philippines’ condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She congratulated the Assistant Minister on his election and updated him on the progress and developments in the Philippines-Australia relations. They exchanged views to deepen trade and investment and economic cooperation, and discussed key areas of political and security cooperation to advance the bilateral partnership.
