12 May 2023, CANBERRA - The Philippine Ambassador to Australia H.E. Ma. Hellen De La Vega welcomed on 09 May 2023 the visiting delegation from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) led by MGEN Ferdinand Barandon PA, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence. The Ambassador highlighted the strong security and defense partnership between Australia and the Philippines. Australia is one of only two Status of Forces Agreement partners of the Philippines. The partnership allows the two nations to engage in joint exercises, capacity-building and trainings, and the sharing of information and intelligence. - END
