In connection with the entry into force of the Apostille Convention in the Philippines on 14 May 2019, the Philippine Embassy in Canberra and all Philippine Consular Offices in Australia will no longer affix a red satin ribbon to its certificates of authentication and acknowledgment starting on 15 June 2019. This is in accordance with DFA Circular 1190-OCA-2019.
