ADVISORY ON THE END OF TENURE OF THE HONORARY CONSUL AND HONORARY VICE CONSUL OF THE PHILIPPINES IN PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA, AND THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE PHILIPPINE CONSULATE IN PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

12 March 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Canberra announces the end of tenure of Ms. Virma Symons, the Philippine Honorary Consul, and Ms. Melissa Aguasa, the Philippine Honorary Vice Consul to Perth, Western Australia, on 14 March 2024, and the temporary closure of the Philippine Consulate in Perth from 15 March 2024 until the assumption of the new Honorary Consul.

Legalization of Special Powers of Attorney (SPA), Affidavits, Acknowledgements through Apostille
Private Documents such as affidavits, special powers of attorney, deeds, sworn statements, etc. that cannot be executed and signed in the presence of a Philippine consular official will still be accepted in the Philippines if it has been apostilled by the relevant DFAT office in each state.
